The Year 11 Physics Thermodynamics Research Assignment is due in, for both classes, by Wednesday the 13th of April @ 5:00pm. Please be sure to email me your final product by this deadline. PDF format is preferred if possible.
This test will be one period in duration and be held during your normal Physics class on Friday the 20th May.
The topics to be assessed on this test will include all of Chapter 4 as well as circuit analysis (ie. series and parallel circuits) and voltage dividers.
Students are permitted a single sided A4 summary sheet for this test.

Year 11 Physics Class 2 – Motion Test # 2
Wed 14th Sept. Period 2 – 70 minutes duration
Content to be covered includes: inclined planes, Newton’s 3 laws of motion, double body systems (ie. ship & tug boat joined by cable), conservation of moment, impulse, work, Energy: gravitational potential, kinetic, elastic strain potential.
Students are permitted a single sided A4 summary sheet.

Thurs 15th Sept. Period 4 – 70 minutes duration

Year 11 Physics Excursion to the 2017 F1 Grand Prix
Students have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of Formula One, and get captivated by the innovative technology that governs the sport by attending the 2017 Formula 1® Rolex Australian Grand Prix for FREE*.
This assessment task will be in the format of a written test consisting of short answer and multiple choice questions. Students will be provided with 10 minutes reading time and 60 minute writing time.
Students will be permitted a scientific calculator and a single sided A4 summary sheet. The summary sheet may be hand written, computer generated, photocopied or commercially produced.
The test will be testing your knowledge and understanding of the electrical theory covered in Chapters 4 & 5 of the Jacaranda Physics text.
