This task is due by Mon 3rd of September @ 3:15pm.  The report should be written following the template emailed to students and should address the criteria rubric, also emailed to the class.

The report is to be submitted as a hard copy and be part of the ongoing logbook.

Year 12 Physics SAC #6 – Practical Investigation

The Practical Investigation involves:

  • The research and planning of a practical investigation
  • The carrying out of a practical investigation
  • The recording of all information in a practical logbook
  • The production of a scientific poster

Both the practical logbook and the finished poster must be submitted to Mr Judd by no later than 1:31pm on Friday the 21st of September (the last day of term 3).

Year 11 Physics – Practical Investigation @ Room 6 Kildare Campus
Nov 16 @ 9:00 am – Dec 4 @ 3:15 pm

Both Year 11 Physics Classes are required to submit their Practical Investigation by the end of the school day on Friday the 16th of November (ie. 3:15pm). The class room will be locked and vacated by 3:20pm.

Students are required to submit the following items:

  • Practical logbook
  • Scientific Poster (electronic format such as power point or pdf)

There has been three weeks of class time allocated.  As such, students are expected to meet the deadline.  Special provision is of course available to all students.  However this will require documentation, a formal application and a scheduled interview with the appropriate house coordinator.

Students are permitted to bring pens , pencils, rulers, a scientific calculator, erasers and higlighters.  Students are also permitted to bring a single sided A4 summary sheet.
