Year 10 Physics Motion Test
Students are permitted a single sided A4 summary sheet, a scientific calculator and the traditional pens, rulers, pencils and rubber.
The test has been constructed to examine all concepts covered during Term 4 study, including:
- distance & displacement
- average speed & average velocity
- acceleration
- Motion graphs: Position – Time
- Motion graphs: Velocity – Time
- Ticker timers ad ticker timer tapes
- Equations of constant acceleration
Students need to have completed the Electricity Revision Homework Sheet prior to this lesson.
During this lesson the structure of the Electricity section of the exam will be discussed. The homework sheet will be corrected and solutions provided. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the Electricity topic.
Students need to have completed the Magnetism Revision Homework Sheet prior to this lesson.
During this lesson the structure of the Magnetism section of the exam will be discussed. The homework sheet will be corrected and solutions provided. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the Magnetism topic.

During this lesson the structure of the Motion section of the exam will be discussed. The homework sheet will be corrected and solutions provided. Students will have the opportunity to ask questions relating to the Motion topic.
The Year 10 Intro to Physics Exam consists of questions from all 3 topics; Electricity, Magnetism & Motion.
Students are permitted to bring a double sided A4 Summary Sheet, a scientific calculator, pens, pencils, ruler and an eraser.

Students are encouraged to complete all the set class work, plus the supplied practice test

Students are to wear full winter uniform. Food is available at the venue’s cafeteria, or students may choose to bring their own lunch.
