Holiday Study Session @ Room 7, Kildare Campus

The 2 hour holiday study session focusses upon the VCE Physics Unit 4 detailed study – The Australian Synchrotron.

The session is planned to be of a 2 hour duration.  However, if students wish to further discuss aspects of the course, they are more than welcome to stay for longer.

SAC 5 Synchrotron and its applications – Topic Test
Oct 6 @ 9:15 am – 10:30 am

Students will complete a multi-choice topic test during a single period.  The test will be designed to reflect the multiple choice section of the VCAA exam.  The test will be set upon the Synchrotron and its applications area of study and take during the week commencing the 14th of September.

Final topic test of the year for Year 11 students. As always students are permitted a a single sided A4 summary sheet.  The test will be upon the Optics topic covered this term.

Year 11 Physics Exam @ Kildare Hall
Nov 18 @ 1:30 pm – 3:15 pm

The Year 11 Physics exam consists of materials covered in the topics of Motion and Light.  Students are permitted a double sided A4 summary sheet for this exam.  Please note that students are allowed use a scientific calculator only.  Programmable CAS calculators are not permitted.

Student are provided with reading time and 90 minutes in which to complete the written examination.

Yr 12 Further Maths – Chap 1 & 2 Practice Test @ Room 12
Feb 22 @ 8:45 pm – 10:00 pm

The grades from this test do not contribute towards student coursework scores or indeed their study score.  The test is being completed to evaluate each students comprehension and mastery of the content covered in chapters 1 & 2.  The result will assist in the formation of feedback for the first round of reporting.
